Jomalig Island

Jomalig  (homalig) Island is part of Quezon province; An island that is too far from the mainland but once you get there, I'm pretty sure this paradise will revitalize whatever your ill feelings. But before you explore this majestic island, ask yourself first, are you ready to endure the 4hrs land travel and 4-6hrs boat ride? If yes, pack your things up and enjoy the Golden Paradise of Quezon.

Let me share to you my experiences..

Boat Ride is 4-6 hrs. Depends on volume of passengers/travelers.
Bring your own inflatable mattress so you can take a nap during the travel

Before you visit Jomalig Island, you must have a contact person first from your accommodations as they require you to log your information details in Ungos Port such as name, gender, how many days you will stay and resort you're going to stay.

Habal-habal is just their way of transportation. They will take you to your chosen resort for about 20mins from Jomalig port once you arrived. Fare is 70 pesos per trip. Even though you are riding on the same vehicle, they will charge you 70/head. So I recommend to ride vehicle separately if you are with your friends or special someone.

We chose Kadena Beach Resort as it has a good deals to offer. Imagine, 200 pesos per head and per night with 100 pesos entrance fee? It's really a budget-friendly. Rooms can accomodate 2-4 persons.

Here's the Bird's-eye-view. In front of Kadena Beach Resort. Awesome, right?

Right from there, you can enjoy the naturally fine, powdery and long stretch of golden sand and swim in turquoise sea.

If you wish to see the sandbar, explore the area during late in the morning until noon time. Unfortunately, we failed to get there but we were able to play with waves

There's more other way to explore Jomalig. If you want to relax and wants to enjoy the scenic view of the island, then choose Island hopping tour. But if you are really wants adventure and thrilling activities, I recommend to choose land tour as you will be able to see partly of Jomalig Island.

After a few minutes, we've finally arrived. And in the middle of the vast greenland, is a tree. It looks to lonesome and sad that's why one of the bloggers called this as  "puno ng walang forever".

On our next stop, is Golden Beach Resort. It features golden sand, agoho trees and clear water of the sea

Part of the itineraries is the Pamana Beach Resort also knows as Little Boracay.

Here, you can swim along with sea creatures. Remember not to damage the corals as it will affect their habitants.

Tired and thirsty? Fresh buko got your back! For only 20 pesos.

Next is Kanaway Beach Resort. Actually it is not deep as you think in the picture. We just rode the boat with these playful children so they can still earn through their hard works at an early age. Any amount of money to them will do. They will take you to the mini island which is few walks away from Kanaway Resort.

As we head back to Kadena Beach, it's very relaxing after a tiring yet exciting activities. You can sit, stare at the stars at night and reflect. Remember, traveling would help you to meditate and know more of yourself!
