1. ENJOY THE ROAD

Every riders want take the most scenic view and twisted road of Sierra Madre. It is just a stone throw away from Manila. Bikers, motorcycle riders or any type of vehicle is welcome as long as you drive safely. 

2. HIKING SPOTS

Mt. Batolusong
Is located in San Andres, Tanay, Rizal.

Batolusong is a combination of two filipino words. Bato means "rock" and lusong means "ascend"

Mt. Batolusong is highly recommended for beginners that has a difficulty scale 3/10. It will take you to 3-4 hrs trek straight to summit.

How to get there? 

• Take a jeep from Aurora Blvd. Cubao bound for Cogeo Gate for Php25
•  Once you arrive at Cogeo, Antipolo, take another jeep to Brgy. Sampaloc. From there, you can rent a habal-habal for P50 one way to get to the Brgy. San Andres for the registration and local guides.

Treasure Mountain 

If you are not into hiking or trekking, then Treasure Mountain is there for you. It requires you for just a couple of minutes to walk up to the summit. No need for tourguide, just pay for Php150 entrance fee.

How to get there? 

Via Cogeo:

• Take a van or jeepney goint to Cogeo Gate 2 or Padilla for Php25.
• At Gate 2, take jeepney bound for Sampaloc, Tanay via Marcos Highway for Php45
• Get off at Sitio Maysawa (Maysawa Circuit

MT. Daraitan

What Mt. Daraitan makes it unique is the white limestone formations along the trails and in the summit. 

With 738+MASL, this mountain takes pride with its scenery. You can simply do a day hike here

How to get there? 

• Take van from Cubao to Cogeo then ride jeep going to Sampaloc Market for Php 65 
•  Then direct the tricycle driver to Daraitan or proceed to queue of daraitan-route tricycle in front of Camp Capinpin to avoid any transaction for Php50 each

MT. Maynoba & Mt. Cayabu

Dare to do twin hike in Tanay? You might want to consider these two mountains. And the best mont to climb there is between April to March as the weather is not too hot and not too cold.

With the continuous explorations, you will witness the 8 wonder falls nearby the area. You are lucky enough if you

catch the sea of clouds in the summit of Maynoba. Better to start and trek early.

How to get there?

•  Ride a Jeep, Sampaloc to Cogeo for Php25
•  Jeep, Cogeo to Batangasan for Php40
• Tricycle, Batangasan junction to trailhead for Php25 per head

3. EXPLORE WATER FORMATIONS

Daranak Falls

Lush forest surrounds waterfalls, ponds & rivers at this natural attraction with swimming & huts.

And for only 20 pesos, you will definitely see the paradise of daranak falls. The water is clear and cold but bearable.

Ten Cents to Heaven

Rustic, traditional and quiant are the words to describe this piece of heaven. There's no need to go to Sagada and travel for 9-12hrs.

For about Php50 entrance fee, you will experience the beauty of nature of Sierra Madre. Ofcourse, entrance wilk be free if you chose to eat inside of their restaurant. 

A little advice, bring a sweater or jacket as it hits you of cold breeze in the morning.

5. EAT BULALO
Tagaytay is known for food delicacy, Bulalo. The texture of meat is perfect and the taste is umami. Well, Tanay, Rizal also offers their Bulalo version.
